Today we wrote our own 'Revolting' versions of Goldilocks and the 3 Bears.

Revolting doesn't have to mean disgusting or bad - its true definition means to turn against - to revolt.

Roald Dahl took well known Traditional Tales and changed them about.

What could you change about in Goldilocks and the 3 Bears?

  • Maybe she/he doesn't have golden hair
  • could there be 3 different animals?
  • perhaps porridge is replaced with something else .......

Don't completely change everything! The story needs a similar format to the original in order that we can compare the two. Why not illustrate your story too?

Don't forget your sentence punctuation and capital letters. Try to include some adjectives for detail. We look forward to reading them, when you return to school.

When you have finished, you could watch Roald Dahl's revolting version on YOUTUBE.
