Dear Year 3
We hope you are all ok and are looking forward to a week's holiday from school tasks next week. YES - next week is May Half term so we will not be setting any maths, literacy, spellings, Serial Mash or other subjects.
We won't be marking work on PURPLE MASH next week as we need a rest too. We will check the BLOGs, but not so frequently. Please still keep in touch - we will try and respond, when we can.
WEll DONE to the children that shared their tennis scores last week. Unfortunately we didn't place against the other participating schools but did receive a 'SPIRIT OF THE GAMES' certificate for the large number of children that took part.
We still need MORE! - to increase our chance of winning. Please take part in the next challenge. (Details after half term).
If you need some ideas to keep you busy over Half Term, then have a look at the Summer Fun section on the school website. Some of these activities are left over from the Easter holidays, but we will add some new ones too.
Congratulations to ASH class for beating LIME, in this week's Wednesday Battle. OAK unfortunately were this week beaten by ROWAN.
|This week's TOP scorers|
|2nd||Ella P||2nd||Lucy J|
|Week's TOP scorer:||Summer||3245|
Well done to Summer again! - it is getting closer each week - can somebody knock her off this top spot next week?
There will be no Wednesday TTRs competition next week, but we will still run the weekly one between ASH and OAK.
We would like to apologise to Summer for missing saying 'Happy Birthday!' last week; we hope you had a lovely day.
Next week Zara and Natalie will be turning 8 - we hope you both have a lovely day. Many happy returns.
We hope you have a lovely week off - the weather looks good - time to get the paddling pools out and stock up on lollies.
Take care - miss you lots!
