Willow Bank Junior School

Friday 24th April

Hello year 3,

What a busy first week back you have had, we are so impressed with all the hard work that you have put in to your home learning!  We have particularly liked seeing your amazing skeletons, there have been some very creative ways of making them.smiley

We hope that you are getting used to the new ways of home learning - remember to keep checking the Willow Bank Junior website every day, as well as Purple Mash.  If you do get work on MyMaths (which you will), we will tell you via the school website.

Your parents and carers had a message from Miss Cornish this week, who announced that there are now weekly Times Tables Rock Stars battles on Wednesdays between different classes in the school.

This week, Oak class BEAT Cedar class (year 5) - hooray!!laughlaughlaugh

Ash class didn't quite beat Pine (year 4) - better luck next week! crying

Thanks to all of you who joined in the battles, hopefully lots more of you will log on to TTRS next Wednesday?

Next week's Wednesday tournaments are:

Ash .v. Rowan (year 5)

Oak .v. Lime (year 4)

Don't forget - it's not how good at times tables you are, but how much you play!
