Key information:

Monday 28th September - Arrive at school at 8:45am.                                                                                                                       Friday 2nd October - Return to school at approx 5pm (We will keep you updated on the day)

Leave luggage under the playground shelter. Parents and carers are welcome to leave at this point, but any help loading up the coach would be much appreciated.

Children DO NOT need a packed lunch – lunch is provided on arrival at Fairthorne. We are due to arrive at approximately 11am. Children are not need to bring any food/ sweet items with them.

Children's luggage should be packed in one large bag or suitcase – they need to be able to move this themselves. Sleeping bag, pillow and single sheet are to be packed in a separate, named bin bag.

Further details of the kit needed are on the kit list (attached below). Copies of this will be sent home. Please let us know if you are having any difficulties sourcing anything on the list. Please don't send children with expensive new gear – it is likely to get wet and muddy and even mislaid if not clearly named.

PLEASE NOTE THAT NO JEWELLERY IS ALLOWED FOR ANY OF THE ACTIVITIES. Children will need to be able to remove earrings – ear tape is not accepted for health and safety regulations. We advise that children do not have their ears pierced between now and the residential as these will have to be taken out.
