By now you should have some ideas about what you are going to write your lockdown verse/verses about. Have another look at the poem - you will need to copy the style so the verses all fit together. Read the poem aloud. It has the same first line for each verse and then two rhyming couplets - your verse needs to be the same as this. Decide on your subject and then start playing with your rhyming words. There are lots of rhyming sites on line that will help your find different rhyming words to use.
By the end of the lesson you should have at least one verse written. If you would like to, you can write more than one verse! Tomorrow you'll be recording them!
