Coronavirus - Covid 19 Advice

In order to support us to help keep the community safe and to ensure that we can remain operational, we ask that you continue to follow the guidance shared at the start of the summer term as set out below and to keep children at home if they are unwell.

The Government guidance advises people with symptoms of a respiratory infection, including COVID-19, a high temperature, or who feel unwell to stay at home and avoid contact with other people until they feel well enough to resume normal activities and they no longer have a high temperature.

Children and young people who are unwell or have a high temperature should stay at home and avoid contact with other people, where they can. They can go back to school, college or childcare when they no longer have a high temperature, and they are well enough to attend.

Anyone with a positive COVID-19 test result is advised to stay at home and avoid contact with other people for 5 days, which is when they are most infectious. For children and young people aged 18 and under, the advice is three days. This starts the day after they did they test.
