More information about our school uniform expectations, can be found within our uniform policy, which is included below for your information. 

The expected dress code is as follows:

• Sweatshirt or cardigan - navy blue - We would like all children to have a sweatshirt or cardigan with the school logo and these can be purchased from the Goodies online store or from the PTA second hand uniform. 
• Shirt/blouse or polo shirt - white
• Trousers or skirt - black, grey or navy. These must be proper school trousers and not be leggings or joggers. Traditional summer school skirts with a blue gingham pattern are also permitted (please see reference photos). 
• Shorts – black, grey or navy. These must be proper school shorts and not cycling shorts or other sports shorts (see photos).
• Dresses - black, navy or grey school pinafores or blue school summer dresses (see photos)
• Socks or tights - plain black, grey, navy or white
• Shoes – plain black shoes (trainers are ok as long as they are completely black with no white logos, white soles or white edging). 
• Hair accessories - whilst we are more than happy for children to wear their hair up in a variety of styles to suit their personality, please ensure that any hair bands, clips, bows or scrunchies worn are black, white, grey, hair-coloured or navy blue. 
• Hair coverings, such as hijabs - black, white, grey or navy blue. 
• Jewellery - please no necklaces or bracelets (unless worn for religious or medical reasons). One single pair of simple stud earrings are fine (hoops are not appropriate for school). 
• No make-up or nail varnish please. 

For PE, children need:

• Willow Bank PE T-shirt (available through goodies) or plain T-Shirt with no motifs or logos - white
• Plain shorts without motif or logos - black (must be completely black) - please can you ensure shorts are of reasonable length.
• Exercise trainers (these can be any colour when used for PE)
• White socks
• In the colder weather, children are welcome to wear a plain black or navy jumper or their Willow Bank jumper/cardigan and plain black or navy joggers/leggings over the top of their shorts and T-shirt. These again must be completely black or navy without motif or logo (unless it is the school logo). If you child likes to wear underlayers during cold weather and these are visible when wearing shorts and t-shirt, these should also be plain black, white or navy with no logos or motifs on display. 
• Jewellery - For safety reasons, no jewellery should be worn for PE. If your child has a religious or medical bracelet that cannot be removed, please can you provide them with a black, white or navy sweat band to cover it during sport. If your child is not able to take their earrings out themselves, please help them to take them out at home before school on PE days. If your child has recently pierced ears and earrings cannot be removed, please ensure you provide them with ear tape. If earrings can be taken out, this is preferred over tape for safety reasons. 

We would like all children to have a sweatshirt or cardigan with the school logo and these can be purchased from the Gooddies online store (link below).  Other items of clothing (e.g. polo shirts and PE shirts with the logo) are also available from Gooddies but you may prefer to purchase these without the logo from other retailers.

The PTA have second hand logo items available at £2 per item. To request sizes please contact the PTA directly via their facebook page, or make a request to the school office.
